Somalia’s capital Mogadishu has been gripped by the news of the massive losses by some of the mature forex operators in the country.
One of these operators is the company 252 forex who have announced loses amounting to two hundred and fifty two thousand dollars (252k) which unbelievably is the exact number of the company’s name “252 forex”.
Wild rumors are being circulated in social media about the truth of these losses and some people are suggesting that the mature banks have set up these companies and deliberately caused these huge losses to the customers in order for people to turn away from forex companies and keep their money in the banks.
The losses was announced to customers by sms and many people have flocked to the offices of 252 forex and some went straight to the police headquarters in the Capital Mogadishu.
